Anna-Louise made her debut with Melbourne Opera as Zerlina in Don Giovanni in 2006, and has subsequently performed roles including Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Frasquita (Carmen), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica), Johanna (Sweeney Todd) and Cherubino (La Nozze di Figaro) in both Austria and Australia. Anna-Louise has won prizes and been a fnalist in a number of national and international singing competitions. In 2008 Anna-Louise was also selected as the Australian representative in the 27th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna and in 2007, was a fnalist in the Herald Sun Aria Competition in Melbourne, and won second place in the Australian Youth Aria Competition. |

Anna-Louise Cole was born in Melbourne, Australia and holds Bachelor degrees with Honours in both Music Performance (Voice) and German from the University of Melbourne. She has also been the recipient of a Melbourne Abroad Scholarship for study at the Universität für Musik und Darstendelle Kunst in Graz, Austria and a Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD-German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship for study at the Albert-Ludwigs Universität in Freiburg, Germany, and speaks fuent German and French.
