Daryl Barclay
Daryl Barclay Geelong born tenor, Daryl Barclay, is a former pupil of the great Australian soprano Dame Joan Hammond. Daryl’s operatic roles have included Rodolfo in La Boheme, Nemorino in L’Elisir D’Amore and Pedrillo in Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail. He has appeared as guest soloist with a number of Australian Orchestras including the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and his experience in oratorio and on the concert platform is extensive.

In 2000 Daryl gave his first international recital in Dublin.

Daryl is a Christian Brother and has taught in a number of Australian schools, including an eight year period as Principal of St Virgil’s College in Hobart. He is currently on sabbatical completing a Masters degree in theology.
