Her operatic roles include Ma in Copland’s The Tenderlands, Der Trommler in Victor Ullmanns Der Kaiser Von Atlantis, Leila in Opera Australia’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe, and the Spirit in Opera Australia’s Sydney production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. From 2005 to 2007, Tania performed the title role in Oz Opera’s (Opera Australia) production of Carmen. Her most recent role was Fricka in Wagner’s Die Walkurie, performed in New York City in 2007. Her international concert work includes Haydn’s Mass in B Minor with the Reading University Choir and Orchestra (London), and in 2006 Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with Japan’s Philharmonic Orchestra. In Australia Tania has performed in numerous vocal orchestral works and masses, including Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C Major with the Monash University Choral Society, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonnelle with E21, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody with Geminiani Orchestra and Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder and Symphony No.2 in C Minor with the Victorian College of the Arts Orchestra and Melbourne University Choral Society. In 2009 Tania will be engaged with Oz Opera’s Schools’ Company from April through to October. |

Born in country Victoria, Tania graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education at the Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Now residing in Melbourne, she has spent the past six years traveling and working as a freelance artist.
