After training with the Young People’s Theatre, Scott spent eight years as Resident Lighting Designer for the company, lighting pantomime and productions in repertory. Scott is a professional member of the Association of Lighting Designer’s (ALD), Treasurer of the Australasian Lighting Industry Association (ALIA) and has twice attended the Broadway Lighting Design master class series at New York University.  Scott worked on the national tours of I’m Not a Dentist and Late Nite Catechism prior to six years as Resident Lighting Designer to the Gold Coast Arts Centre and five years as the Technical Manager for the Arts Faculty at Deakin University.
